To the mountains, adventure awaits! This oil painting is a favorite of mine, and definitely my most detailed. I love a Joshua Tree, and this painting boasts many of them! I also love the mystery of getting lost and following a random path; it mostly ends in new knowledge. I really wanted to portray the dark shadows spreading across the cryptic path and the sun slowly descends behind the southwestern mountains.
