This piece was inspired by a road trip to Colorado with my wife. As we drove through Northern Arizona, I found myself snapping photos of almost everything until I realized the beauty was so overwhelming I had to put the camera down. I decided to stop looking through a lens and just take it all in with my own eyes and memory.
However, this specific scene (an awesome, inspiring mountain) stayed with me. The composition was so compelling that I knew it had to be translated to canvas. As part of my 2026 collection, this painting represents a shift in my process; I explored a broader color palette, introducing specific greens that I haven't utilized in the past. It is an invitation to the viewer to do what I did on that road trip: stop, look, and find the 'heavenly sight' in the landscape.
Original Oil Painting (16"x 20"x 1”) on Stretched Canvas
Finished with Archival Gamvar Satin Varnish for protection and a uniform finish.
Unframed but wired for immediate hanging
Free Shipping included within the U.S.
