Hi there! My name is Matthew, and I love the absurdism and over-commercialization of the '80s and '90s. I’m actually pretty obsessed, just ask my wife. Not a day goes by without a starry-eyed soliloquy about Jumpin’ Jack Doritos or Burger King’s charming flop, “Burger Buddies.” Part of my world is centered in the soul-crushing reality of our pre-dystopian 2026, while the other half is frolicking with the Fry Kids in the burger fields of McDonaldland, unknowingly humming the Whatchamacallit jingle from 1987.
I’ve been writing and drawing a little indie comic based on a rad, shades-wearing, red-dye-sugar-water-hawking pink shark named Sharkleberry Fin. If you were around in 1990 and watched way too much TV like I did, you might remember how cool he was. Maybe even cooler than Rude Dog or Da’ Boys from T&C Surf! I really hope this little activity book/zine will transport you back to a time when doom-scrolling was something you did in an 8-bit skating game and Tik-Tok was a bronzed mechanical man that saved the Land Of Oz that one time.
This 8 page, 5.5”x 8.5” activity book/zine is chock full of puzzles, games, coloring pages and SO much more!
